Who operates this

Control Center is operated by Alan Truong as a personal application. Contact: hello@altruong.com.

What it accesses

With your explicit consent through Google's own authorization screen, the application reads and modifies your Google Calendar events and your Gmail messages. It asks for calendar access and for the single Gmail scope gmail.modify, which covers reading messages, changing their labels, moving them to trash and sending replies. It never permanently deletes mail.

Why

Solely to show you your own schedule and inbox inside the application, to summarize your mail into a daily brief, and to carry out actions you ask for, such as moving an event or drafting a reply. Every change to your data is made on your instruction.

Where it goes

• Calendar events are mirrored, and recently viewed mail is cached, in a Postgres database hosted by Neon in Singapore.
• Nango holds the Google authorization tokens. This application never stores them.
• Groq receives the text of messages you ask about, and audio you dictate, in order to generate a reply or a transcript. It is not used to train models.
• Render hosts this server.

Limited use

The use and transfer of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including its Limited Use requirements. Google user data is never sold, never used for advertising, and never read by a human except by you, the account holder.

Removing your data

Disconnecting an account in the application deletes its stored connection and the data mirrored from it. You can revoke access at any time at myaccount.google.com/permissions, which stops all further access immediately. To ask for anything else to be deleted, write to hello@altruong.com.
